True to size (vs the brooks launch where you need to go half size up).I’m familiar with both brooks ghost and brooks launch as I like to rotate between them.The 12mm heel drop on ghost gives my feet a much needed break after running in launch and Vice versa. The launch is more connected to the ground and ghost is less contact and a bit more lateral support.Some days my feet prefers ghost ( I’ve owned 2 in the past 4 years) and other days they prefer launch ( I’ve owned 3 in the past 4 years). * I pretty much purchase either a ghost or a launch every year and this year it was time for a ghost purchase.I want to try out the glycerin, maybe next year since I like cushioned shoes a lot.Can’t go wrong with brooks.Love these shoes. In the past I have worn the Ghost 9, 10 and 11. I walk 3 to 4 miles a day about 5 days a week and these do the job. The toe box is wide and you don't have to break them in...right out of the box they are good to go. I wish they offered more arch support but that would be more important to me if I was still a runner. However, you may want to do a 1/2 size up if this is your first experience with Brooks. I can usually get away with an 8 1/2 but in Brooks I wear a solid 9. I have heard some people go up an entire size. Great shoe! Love their brand.This is my third pair. I was originally fitted in a running store, but have since ordered them online. This model is like walking on clouds, no need to break in. And better yet, no plantar fascitis or shin splints since I first started wearing them. WORTH EVERY PENNY. I've had blue, purple, and now these black and gold ones which are super pretty and match everything.I love the style I love the colorthey’re really really comfortablethe only complaint I have is minor. the shoestrings are kind of stretchy and that means they get knotted easily. Other than that they are a perfect shoe for meI've gone from Ascis to Brooks then Asics back to Brooks. I seemed to have fit issues with the yearly changes. I love this fit. I am an avid runner and my knee pain is gone having switched back to Brooks. These are very comfortable and provide good arch support. They are an attractive color/design.This is the best pair of Brooks I have owned yet. I have had the Adrenaline gts and the Glycerin 18. Those were great shoes, but these Ghosts are the best well rounded. I can use them for long runs, short runs, and long hours at the hospital without anything hurting. Please buy these if it is your first pair of Brooks.I bought these shoes because they’re supposed to be among the best shoes for people who stand all day. I stand all day at work so I was really excited for these to show up. The first day that I wore them, they were wildly uncomfortable. I thought maybe my feet aren’t used to that much support so I just needed to get used to them or they needed to be broken in. The second day that I wore them they were a little more comfortable, but my feet were still pretty worn out by the end of the day. On the second day as well, part of the black rubber on the side of the shoe was rubbed off. Usually, I wouldn’t have a problem with a little wear on my shoes but the black rubber rubbed off to expose a white layer underneath. It makes the damage really stand out on my brand-new shoes. I’m pretty disappointed because I was super excited about these shoes but I think I’m going to have to return them. This isn’t the experience I expect for $130 shoes...I love these. Supportive like the Glycerins in the heel, with a springy racing flat feel in the front. Light yet supportive. Ive ran maybe 200 miles in these now, i highly recommend-esp if you're used to a glycerin or hoka level of support.This is my 2nd pair of Brooks Ghost 12 trainers this year. This pair was for a present for my daughters birthday. It’s advisable to buy half size up or more as I realised from my experience. Very comfortable and feel springy to wear. I’m so glad I was recommended these by a friend who runs long distance. Since having these I have noticed lots of runners wear them so I made a good choice. I will definitely buy these again when needed.I love Brooks Ghost shoes, the are really comfortable. I always buy one size larger than I would buy in normal shoes.Good product. I’ve bought this make before size is as it says. Only problem because of the upper material toes go through before shoe is worn out. Retailer excellent came within 2 days.I love everything about this product. My 4th pair of BrooksRunning
