I bought these in a salmon pink color and they are super cozy and comfy, but they’re extremely thin and slightly see-thru if not wearing skin-colored undies. Every bump of cellulite will show, so I will most likely only wear these under dresses or with very long tops. Darker colors and prints are the way to go here, and definitely don’t size down if you’re between sizes.I really like these shorts. There’s nothing about them I don’t like. I was fortunate to find this color thanks***Updating I still don't know where they could have gotten the holes but they have since been through the wash and the places I sewed them up are lasting. In the flesh tones I feel these are too thin to get away with alone but they're great for under dresses and skirts! Turns out they're a super easy way to add pockets to outfits that sorely need them.Original review:These are so soft and stretchy, without the hard seams or bands that some bike/work out shorts have. Unfortunately I guess because the fabric is so thin and soft they developed holes after one wear! They haven't even been through the wash yet, I have no idea how the holes even could have started. I'm super disappointed. Not the exact material I wanted. I did not read the reviews first. But I do like how comfortable they are.I am a 40-year-old, 5'8", ~200-pound lady. I've recently started working out regularly and didn't love the selection of workout pants I already had, so I decided to try a few new pairs.Based on what I didn't care for about the old clothes, there were a few things I was particularly looking for:- Shorts, not pants. It's warm here right now.- High-waisted. I have a muffin top and I'd prefer to be IN my clothes rather than hanging over them.- A no-roll waistband. See the previous comment about muffin top, and also who wants to be squeezed by a bulge between their bulges?!- Legs hems that don't ride up. A good part of the reason I wear workout-specific clothes is to prevent the dreaded inner-thigh chub-rub, and that only works if the shorts legs stay where they're supposed to.Bonus points for functional features like pockets and a crotch gusset, but they are nice-to-haves for me.So how did these shorts stack up?Based on the existing reviews, I knew these shorts would be thin and soft. They are, and I like the fabric. (I'm working out in the privacy of my living room, so I don't need to worry about much beyond comfort.) They're smooth enough that I would consider wearing them under skirts to resist chafing. Except...The biggest flaw in these shorts is one I seem to keep encountering: manufacturers use a thin piece of elastic at the waist instead of wide, no-roll elastic. I can kind of understand it in these shorts, since they're one-size. Maybe they think only tiny ladies are going to buy them? But the fit is otherwise fine, so it's a disappointment because these shorts would be excellent for my needs if only they didn't roll so readily. On the upside, the leg hems mostly stay in place, so if you are a smaller lady without belly rolls of your own, they may be perfect!(I'm also reviewing the other shorts I bought, so if you're a similar size, you might find my other recent reviews useful.)Pretty see through. Not hiding anything. Bought for an event and it served its purpose and got lots of compliments... just don't go in the direct light.Love the colorLove the color but they are see through ?
